JUST IMAGINE ONE MINUTE YOUR WITH THE ONLY FAMILY YOU’VE EVER KNOWN THEN SUDDENLY THEY ARE GONE …THEN CAR RIDE WITH THE PERSON YOU SEE NEXT DOOR …YOUR EXCITED FOR THE ADVENTURE THEN YOU GET TO YOUR DESTINATION AND SENSE SOMETHINGS WRONG …YOU ARE PULLED OUT..NOW YOU TRY TO GET BACK IN..CAR …DONT WANT THIS ADVENTURE …BUT SCARY PEOPLE COME TO PULL YOU TOO…NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO GET AWAY …THE PERSON HURRIES AWAY FROM YOU …THEN THEY TALK TO SOMEONE AT DESK …Yahhhhhh THEY ARE COMING BACK …WE CAN LEAVE SCARY PLACE!! Ouhhhhh NO THEY THREW MY BLANKET AT ME??? WHAT ..WHY ARE THEY LEAVING ?? NOW I HAVE TO PUT A BLANKET ON THE WET DIRTY FLOOR…UHhhhh!!!

Ribeye (8yo white Bulldog) was left behind after his owner moved out. 🙁 A neighbor made arrangements to bring him to the shelter.
There is a fake story going around that he came in with a pink blanket, possibly to make him look sad. One of the pictures does show him with a blanket in his mouth, but that blanket was provided by us. All animals get a blanket, a bed and toys.
There are a number of organizations holding fundraisers for Ribeye. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!! These are NOT VCAS fundraisers and we cannot guarantee the funds will be given towards Ribeye’s care. There is possibly an Australian organization holding a fundraiser as well as one in New York.
If you wish to give towards the care of an animal, we suggest giving directly to the organization.
